Data Protection Declaration

1.        Controller, Principles, Intended Use

We store and process all collected personal data in accordance with the relevant data protection requirements, particularly those specified by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG). The data processing controller, as defined by the data protection laws, and the processor, as defined by the German Telemedia Act, is:

Konrad Busche GmbH & Co. KG
Industriestrasse 70
70565 Stuttgart, Germany
Tel.:  +49-711-780670
Fax:  +49-711-7802785

The legal basis for processing personal data are article 6, paragraph 1 (1), letters a, b and c of the GDPR and section 15 of the TMG.

Whenever a user is able to enter information on our website, e.g. for requesting an offer, registering for a newsletter, or using a contact form, certain entry fields are marked as ‘mandatory’. We only use these fields to collect information that is necessary for executing a contract or for carrying out the desired measure. You may, of course, voluntarily provide us with additional information.

Your personal data will be processed and stored for executing contracts to which you are a party, for carrying out measures requested by you (e.g. generating an offer or answering contact inquiries), and for promotional purposes (please refer to section 2 for more on this). As soon as your personal data are no longer required for these purposes, they will be deleted. If any statutory retention obligations exist, the data shall be stored until the expiration of the retention obligations and then deleted.

2.        Promotional activities; especially the e-mail newsletter

You may object to the use of your personal data for promotional purposes or withdraw consent you have provided us for this purpose at any time – with future effect – either in writing, via fax, email or by telephone.

This especially applies to our email newsletter, for example, which contains information about our products and services. We will only send you the email newsletter if you have provided your consent for using your data in such a way. You can unsubscribe from a newsletter at any time, with future effect, by either clicking on the corresponding link contained in each email newsletter or by contacting us using the contact details provided.

3.        Transfer to third parties

Your data can only be transferred to third parties if you have given your express consent for this or if data protection laws allow for such transfers.

4.        Rights of data subjects

Under certain conditions, you have the right to obtain information, free of charge, about the data we have stored relating to your person, to request rectification of incorrect information, to request the deletion of your personal data or a restriction on its processing, and the right to data portability. You may object to the use of your data at any time with future effect. In certain cases, we may be unable to completely delete user data on account of statutory retention requirements. We would also like to advise you of your right to lodge a complaint with the state authority for data protection and freedom of information in Baden-Württemberg.

For any questions pertaining to the processing of personal data, please contact our data protection officer:

5.        Use of cookies

On some of your pages, we make use of cookies that allow you to navigate the website and utilise its functions, e.g. to access password-protected reports, if applicable. Without these cookies, we are unable to provide you with certain services you may request (letter b of article 6, para. 1 (1) of the GDPR).

Cookies are small text files that are saved to your computer. Most of the cookies we use are deleted from your hard drive after you finish the browsing session (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your hard drive and enable us to recognise your computer the next time you visit our site (so-called persistent cookies). You do, of course, have the option of viewing our website without the use of cookies. Most browsers automatically allow for cookies to be saved.

You can adjust the settings on your browser so that it informs you any time cookies are saved; this will provide you with greater transparency on the use of cookies.

You may withdraw your consent at any time or object to the processing of your data. The easiest way to do this is to prevent cookies from being saved to your hard drive by deactivating cookies in your browser settings. If you choose to do so, however, you may not be able to use the full functionality of our website.

6.    Log files

Whenever you access our internet site, information related to your access is saved on a server. This data includes information such as your browser type, the browser version, the operating system, the page you visited before accessing our site, the date of access and time of the server request, and the client file request (file name and URL). We make use of such data anonymously for statistical analyses and these data are not in any way attributed to the respective user.
